Math tutoring that builds real confidence

Hello! I’m Chris. I'm qualified with over 12 years of professional experience and a degree in Math Education from Purdue University as well as multiple years in the math classroom. I do more than just help students get right answers, I help them understand what they’re doing (and why) so that math can feel less stressful. I help my students build confidence and mastery as we meet. As a life-long learner I strive for some of my love of math to rub off on my students! Based in Indiana but serving students around the country, I utilize Zoom and the advantages of the digital platform for effective tutoring.

“Chris is very patient and is doing a great job helping my son actually understand what he’s doing, instead of doing it for him.” — Aubri

“Chris was very helpful and accommodating... My daughter enjoyed his demeanor and teaching style.” — Mike

“Chris was so patient, helpful and knowledgeable about each subject. His voice, mannerism, and pace, used to assist my boys in better understanding these subjects was directly responsible for their success. In addition both of my son’s who are very different in personality, admired and appreciated Chris in the way he educated and treated them.” — Chris S.

“As a parent, I am happy with the progress my son has made with math. Although they’ve only been working together for a short time, we’ve already seen a noticeable improvement in both his confidence and his math grades. Chris is able to break down challenging concepts into a way that is easy to understand, helping my son truly learn the material rather than just memorize the steps. One of the things I appreciate most is how Chris encourages him to ask questions and creates a supportive environment where he feels comfortable doing so—something that hasn’t always come naturally for my son. Would recommend!” — Melissa D.
